Rivergreen Medical Centre

106 Southchurch Dr, Clifton, Nottingham NG11 8AD, UK – 0115 921 1566

Firstly I would say that it's not very well sign posted if you are driving to this Medical Centre, But is is right next to a tram stop and near a bus stop. The car park is located behind the building next to the church. To get to the car park there is a small signal road which isn't that easy to find if you haven't been there before. It looks like a privet road leading to a residents driveway not a car park for a Medical Center. There is two disabled bays, plus around 8 regular spaces and 6 doctors bays, a relatively small car park. To access the Medical Centre from the car park there is a path with signs directing you to the front of the building. There is a dropped kerb but this can be partly blocked when a GP parks in the bay next to the kerb, Its not great for wheelchairs or scooters trying to access the path or the car park. Once inside the Medical Centre on the left there is a main reception desk this i quite high up for those who are sitting in a wheelchair or on scooters, but its manageable. The waiting area is located on the right opposite the reception it is quite small, there is no space for wheelchairs, scooters or pushchairs to sit and wait without been in the way to other users. There are two disabled toilets with plenty of signs directing you to them, they are a suitable size with grab rails where needed and a emergency pull cord. There is also baby changing facilities within the toilets and nappy bags are provided if you have forget your own. There are plenty of consultancy rooms within this building they are all quite a good size, light and airy. The staff are all very friendly and cater for your needs, they also listen to you and not rush you if you need a little extra time.

The care I have received from two doctors at this practice has been exceptional. One in particular had been very understanding of my needs and there has been a very holistic approach taking into account my thoughts and feelings. I felt I had the support of both GPs during the lead up to my recent complex surgery. I have since since a different dictionary who I didn't fund approachable at all and she actually made me feel very uncomfortable answer hadn't read my notes so I had to tell her a lot of information which could of been avoided. All in all though very good . The receptionists do their best to help and aren't awkward at all they try their best to sort things out whether it's a referral or a repeat script. They are reliable and will phone back if they say they will. They are all down to earth and polite much better than the other medical centre further up the road.
